De Metstermolen

Metstermolen, listed heritage of Flanders, is an ancient watermill on the countryside of Sint-Truiden, in the province of Limburg.

In the middle of the famous Limburg cycle tours this B&B makes a perfect starting point to enjoy the beautiful nature with the orchards and forests of our region. The proximity of Sint-Truiden, but also towns of Hasselt, Liege or Maastricht give plenty of opportunity for shopping and cultural activities. Exellent restaurants and traditional cafeés are available in the neigbourhood.

Our accomodation in the main house has 3 twin / double rooms on 1st floor. All rooms have privat toilet and bath/shower within the room. There are 2 small childrens beds available. Downstairs you have a cosy living room with a woodstove and a seprate library room with TV.

Breakfast is served in the large kitchen, which is fully equipped and available for self catering.

Next to the mainhouse in the garden of Metstermolen we have another guest accomodation: the "Bakhuis" or bakery is very small house formerly used as one of the bread-ovens for the people of Metsteren. After the refurbishment the Bakhuis is used as B&B facility for 2 or 3 persons. On the groundfloor, this Bakhuis includes a sitting area and kitchenette and seperate toilet and shower. On the 1st floor under the roof there is one twin bed and a single bed.

Both, Molenhuis and Bakhuis have wifi facility and acces to our garden with patios in the middle of nature and a lovely pond.
